The Dark Knight 
       ⚔️ The Dark Knight
The embodiment of strength and power. During their golden age, the mysterious order of Dark Knights fought for the protection of the citizens of MU. Today, they are fierce mercenaries and solitary warriors. In close combat, they deliver deadly attacks while absorbing damage that would kill any other class.

Class Mechanics
Dark Knights are a base class, meaning they can be created from Level 1. Because their skills do not consume as much mana compared to other classes, Energy is generally a low priority, allowing them to focus purely on devastating melee strength and high survivability.

Class Lineage

1. Dark Knight
The Dark Knights start their journey in Lorencia, training heavily in short-range sword and axe techniques.
2. Blade Knight
Evolves after completing the Second Class Quest with Priestess Sevina. To unlock his true power, he must bring the Dark Stone to Captain Marlon.
3. Blade Master
After completing the Third Class Quest with Priest Devin, he becomes the almighty Blade Master, capable of wielding all types of swords to kill opponents as fast as the wind blows.

Combat Skills

The Dark Knight's arsenal is divided into innate weapon techniques, powerful orb-learned skills, and specialized siege combat abilities.

Defense Skill
Requires a Shield. Positions the knight in a defensive posture, reducing damage taken by 50%. Extremely useful when besieged by multiple enemies.

Deals twice as much damage as a regular attack by utilizing the knight's entire body weight to increase the strength of the blow.

Cyclone Slash
Swings a sword in a wide arc, generating enough centrifugal power to cause increased damage and attack speed.

Lunge
Used with weapons like Gladius and Katana to execute quick stabs that deeply penetrate an opponent's armor.

Uppercut
Cleaves into an enemy through a fluid upward slashing motion. Simple in appearance, but requires dedication to master.

Slash
A dreadful, high-difficulty skill using both blades to deal 2x damage. Only works with the Giant Sword, Chaos Dragon Axe, or Crystal Sword.

Impale
Allows the knight wielding a spear or mounted on a Dinorant/Uniria to impale his opponents for massive damage.

The staple PvE skill. Allows the knight to whirl his weapon violently around him, damaging all adjacent targets.

Death Stab
A devastating, high-speed attack similar to the Lunge skill, but heavily enhanced by the elemental power of wind.

Greater Fortitude
Also known as "Swell Life." The knight shouts to use his energies, granting himself and party members massively increased maximum HP.

Rageful Blow
A colossal area attack that unleashes shockwaves with the elemental power of the earth to crush multiple opponents.

Combo Skill
A powerful technique that fuses 3 skills perfectly timed to unleash a massive blue shockwave. Requires Level 220 and Marlon's Quest.

Crescent Moon Slash
Castle Siege Exclusive. The sharpness of the blade opens up a fiery crescent moon symbol in the air, shredding invaders.

Stern Lightning
Castle Siege Exclusive. This skill can only be activated after accumulating points by killing at least 4 players without dying.

Prerequisites

Before you can perform a combo, you must meet one condition:

  • Complete the Marlon's quest: This unlocks the Combo ability for Blade Knights (Level 220+).

The 3-Step Formula

A combo always consists of three specific components executed in order:

  1. Weapon Skill (From your Sword/Orb)
  2. Primary Skill (Usually Twisting Slash)
  3. Finisher Skill (Death Stab or Rageful Blow)

The Weapon Skill

The first step of any combo depends on your equipped weapon.

  • Cyclone: The most popular choice due to its fast animation speed. Found on items like the Lightning Sword or Mace of the King.
  • Other Skills: *Lunge, Slashing, Uppercut, Falling Slash.* (These are generally slower and less preferred).

Combo Patterns

Below are the recognized patterns.

To survive in PvP while dealing damage, you must weave Potion usage (SD/HP) into your skill rotation. This is known as "Combo-Potting."

To assign a hotkey: Hover your mouse over the skill/item and press Ctrl + Number/Letter.

Pro Tips

  • Timing is Key: Do not mash the buttons. You must wait for the animation of one skill to start before pressing the next.
  • Avoid Rageful Blow: For PvP, patterns containing *Rageful Blow* are often too slow. Stick to patterns using *Death Stab* for speed.
  • Practice Targets:

Beginner: Practice on the Dark Elf in Refuge Map or Sprinter Wolf in Kanturu Map (High HP). Expert: Practice on the Draconite Hunter event bosses.
