Ancient Options are powerful, hidden attribute bonuses unlocked only when equipping specific combinations of "Ancient" tier equipment. They form the ultimate foundation for end-game PvP builds in InfinityMU, providing massive multipliers to damage, defense, and stamina.
🔓 How to Unlock Ancient Options
Ancient attributes are dormant on individual pieces of gear. To awaken them, you must collect and equip the required matching pieces to complete the set.
🧩 Set Requirements
Every Ancient Set requires a specific number of components (e.g., Helm, Armor, Shield, or Pendant) to fully unlock its option list.
Example: To unlock the devastating Ignore Def % option on the Eplete Scale Set, a player must be wearing exactly 4 parts of the set (Helm, Armor, Shield, and Pendant of Lightning).
🔗 Sister Set Synergy
In InfinityMU, players rarely wear one complete ancient set. Instead, the meta revolves around combining Sister Sets—two compatible ancient sets mixed together to stack their Ancient Options simultaneously.

⚔️ Primary Ancient Stat Bonuses
When a set is completed, the text color of the Ancient Options will light up blue in the item description. Here are the most impactful attributes you will encounter:
Double Damage Rate
Grants a massive % chance for your final hit damage to trigger exactly twice. The staple of burst-damage classes.
Shield Skill Defense
Increases defensive power (by 10% to 20% depending on the set tier) specifically when a shield weapon is equipped.
Decrease Opponent's Defense
Slices directly through enemy armor ratings by a massive percentage (up to 40% on tier 3 sets).
Critical / Excellent Rate
Forces your attacks to land as maximum Critical (Blue) or Excellent (Green) damage numbers almost constantly.
💎 The "Uber" Evolution (Excellent Integration)
Full Uber vs. Semi Uber
By default, traditional items are EITHER Ancient OR Excellent. However, InfinityMU allows for both systems to merge for ultimate power:
1. Full Uber Sets (WebShop)
The absolute peak of gear. These sets contain the complete list of Excellent Options (Damage Decrease, Reflect, HP Boost, etc.) AND the full Ancient Options unlocked simultaneously. They are acquired via donation / Gold Credits.

2. Semi-Uber Sets (Crafted)
The Play-To-Win alternative. Players can hunt standard Excellent Items (e.g., aiming for Damage Decrease +4%) and use a Jewel of Ancient on them to forge a Semi-Uber piece that retains the single Excellent option while gaining the Ancient set attribute.
