What is a "Semi Uber"? A Semi Uber is an Ancient Item that also possesses Excellent Options. They are the "Play-to-Win" alternative to Full Uber items. Uber vs. Semi Uber: Feature Full Uber (Donor) Semi Uber (Crafted) Base Type Ancient Ancient Exc Options Full Options (All) Limited (Usually 1 or 2) Cost Real Money In-Game Currency/Jewels

Step 1: Acquisition

Your first goal is to get a standard **Excellent Item** with the specific option you want.

Target Item for this guide: Excellent Guardian Helm (with Luck). Recommended Option: Damage Decrease +4%.

Method	Description	Pros/Cons
1. Hunting	Hunt **Box of Kundun** (from Amy the Potion Girl or Events). Throw boxes until the item drops.	Free but Time Consuming (RNG based).
2. WebShop	Buy the specific item + Option + Luck directly from the Webshop.	Instant & Precise but costs Credits.

• Note: You can also use a Jewel of Excellent to add options to a normal item, or Jewel of Luck to add Luck.

Step 2: Preparation (Crucial)

Before turning the item Ancient, you must prepare it. Follow this order to save time and resources.

1. The Base Item

1. **Upgrade to +13:** Essential to unlock the Harmony option slot.
2. **Add Jewel of Life:** Upgrade the item to +28 additional defense (Max).
3. **Add Harmony (Yellow Option):**
   • Use a Jewel of Harmony to add a yellow option.
   • Don't like the option? Remove it at **NPC Jerridon** (Aida) and try again.
   • IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended to get your perfect Yellow Option before the next step.
   • Fixing Mistakes: If you already made the item Ancient, you must use a Jewel of Extraction to remove the yellow option, and a Jewel of Ancient Harmony to add a new one. This is expensive!

Step 3: The Transformation

The Jewel of Ancient

The final step is applying the **Jewel of Ancient**.

• **How to use:** Drag and drop the Jewel of Ancient onto your prepared Excellent Item.
• **Success Rates:**
  • **50%** (Base Rate)
  • **75%** (If item has Luck)

Outcomes:

• Success: The item becomes a **Semi Uber Ancient**. It keeps its Excellent Options, Luck, and Harmony.
• Failure: The Jewel of Ancient disappears. The item remains safe.
• Cool-down Tip: If you fail 2-3 times, wait 10 minutes or switch servers before trying again.

Community Theory: " The Skill Glitch"

Some players believe you can predict the success of a Jewel of Ancient by using a cheaper jewel first: the **Jewel of Skill**.

1. Find a throw-away weapon.
2. Apply a **Jewel of Skill**.
   • If the Skill Jewel **FAILS**: The RNG is "bad." Do not use your Jewel of Ancient.
   • If the Skill Jewel **SUCCEEDS**: The RNG is "good." Quickly apply your Jewel of Ancient to your main item.

Semi Uber sets are the heart of InfinityMU's **Play-to-Win** philosophy. While Full Uber (Donor) sets have the advantage of "Reflect Damage" and "Defense Success" simultaneously, a well-crafted Semi Uber set allows non-donors to compete at a high level in PvP.
