Staff Team Application

Staff members are players who played the game and strives to make the server better for others which is why they applied and got the position. Want to be a Staff Team Member? Want to work for us and make the server more fun? Here are a few steps you can follow in order to make your application acceptance much easier.

Applying for the staff is not an easy job.You must be well known to everyone,so they can know what to say to you and it must be real,not made up.Being famous in the community is a MUST,because nobody accepts new and unknown people,because being in the staff is a very enormous responsibility,which you must take care of and use it with caution.

Don't try to copy someone else's application,it will sound unreal and you will ruin the other person's effort and of course the staff will know if you copy it from somewhere.Being unique and use your own mind and words is a reflection of yourself,always try to be honest.

Reputation

In order for other players to support you in your application you must be well-liked and well-known. Here are some procedure on building a good reputation for yourself:

• Step 1: Becomes friend with everyone in the server

• Step 2: Help other players when they're in need such as problems in-game as well as problems outside-game.

• Step 3: Be fair, do what is right and report any insults/scam/illegal programs.

• Step 4: Do not use any kind of bugs or hacks. Play and become well-know with your skill not programs.

• Step 5: Always vote for our server!

Forum Reputation

Build up your reputation on forum as well as in-game. Here are how you can be well-liked:

• Step 1: Be as active as possible on forum.

• Step 2: Help fellow players on their problems in the Help Section.

• Step 3: Suggest new ideas that can bring a new spice to Infinity MU game-play experience.

• Step 4: Avoid flaming at Staff's Member as well as fellow players on forum.

• Step 5: Give advice and tips to fellow players when needed.

• Step 6: Be honest on your post/reply and be fair, don't take side if possible.

• Step 7: Also remember to spam in the Spam Section

• Step 8: Always vote for our server!

Application's Requirement

These are a few requirement you must have on your application for a position as a Staff Member.

Introduction

This is basically a consolidation of all the previous sticked threads in this section. Read it, before you post any application.

Rules

• No flaming.
• No personal attacks.
• No slandering.
• No spamming.
• No overdoing of jokes.
• No flippant applications.
• No extreme color use.

Disclaimer

Here's a list of reasons why you most probably won't get selected for the job, just to lower your morale. Go ahead and apply after reading this. Just be warned and beware. Leave and come back after you fulfilled the requirements stated, otherwise continue reading. You're relatively unknown You don't know much about the server You've a low post count

Please do not post your application within your first two weeks of joining the Infinity community. Also, do not apply for the spot if you have a very low post count, especially if the application is one of your first through fifth posts. Not encouraging spam here though.

Gripes

Congratulations for meeting the above requisites. Now there's more. Here are some things that irritate and lower your chances at success. Read them, and memorize them well. This list will slowly dissect mentioned issues, take your time to read them.

I've been a GM on other servers: A common reason, or rather "qualification". Please do note the inverted commas. Nobody cares for the experience in those servers. Here, this is a different community, a different server. Commands, NPCs, players' needs and wants. They're all different. So please do not use your experience in other servers to justify yourself. Besides, if you have obtained GM status there, why are you applying for the job here? It just shows your lack of devotion, a definite negative for you.

I can help players by answering their queries: Everyone else can do that. Have you seen players aid each other through megaphones? You don't have to be a GM to help others. So please do the necessary.

Post count: 1 This is a relatively tricky one. Although a low post count does not necessarily mean inactivity, a single digit post count should show your lack of activeness. You could have been one of the most active players in-game but your lack of awareness about the forums will dampen your chances. The fact is that most updates are posted here, so I'll advice you to go get yourself some posts and establish yourself before posting the application. Of course, you do so without spam.

Prohibitions

These are stuff you must avoid. Irregardless of whether you took notice of the previous few points. Of utmost importance, consider your chances nullified and voided. Don't bother coming here again, if you ignore this. You'll only ruin whatever repute you already have.

Do Nots

• Post an application that is your 1st - 5th post.

• Insult or ridicule.

• Worthless self-promotion via bashing.

• Poor grammar.

• Arrogance + Poor personality.

• Make empty promises.

• Copy and paste an application from another server.

You Are Almost There

After finished turning your application in, all you have to do now is wait for the decision of the Admin and the Head Game Master. This is the moment where all your hard work will be rewarded. The friends you've helped, the fair action you've have taken and the blood and sweat you've put into making this server a better server.
