Player-vs-Player Server or PVP Servers are servers in InfinityMU wherein a player can inflict damage to another player. In InfinityMU, the PVP Servers are Servers 3, 4, and 5 (Server 3 and 5 is most of the time used for Server Wide Events and Castle Siege). By inflicting damage to another player, there is a possibility that one of them gets killed. Once a player kills another player, the killed character respawns to the town where he is, and the killer receives a Player Kill (PK) Status depending on how many he killed.

Player Kill (PK) Status

Once you kill another player in a PVP Server, you receive a Player Kill Status or sometimes coined as "Outlaw" depending on how many players that you have killed. Killing 1 player will give you a Level 1 PK Status, and your name will turn into brown. Killing 2 players will give you Level 2 PK Status warning and your name will be in red, this will disable your warp commands as well. Killing 3 players will give you the highest PK Status. Your name will be bloody red as well as your character will be turned to black, color of wings will be transparent red and your warp commands will be disabled.

Remember that once you receive a Level 2 and higher PK Status, once you get killed, the killer will not receive any PK Status. And once you receive the highest PK Status, other players can attack you without the use of CTRL. NPCs will reject your transaction offers as well.

Removing PK Status

You can only remove your PK Status in-game by typing /pkclear or through your Account Panel at website. Once you paid, you will be reverted to a Commoner and your warp commands will be enabled again. Sometimes, when you are in a PK status and stay long in game, it will be removed depending on what level of outlaw you're currently in. It may take several hours to be back as a commoner.
