Introduction
Continuing the quest to find the greatest duelist of all time amongst the blood-thirsty Blad Masters of the community, Duel King Event was born. It was first initiated by Game Master Sava, in 2016, and it is an exclusive tournament created for our special Knights. Since then, the event has become one of the most sought-after events in InfinityMU.
Event Rules and Mechanics
The battle for the "Duel King" title takes place every Last Sunday of the month, one hour before the regular Castle Siege Time. The head of the Events Team makes a series of announcements prior to the schedule both in-game and in the forums.
Before the brawl, the rules of the event are explained via server announcement. These include:
* No running
- No bug exploits
- No other buffs allowed other than Greater Fortitude
- No pets
- No guild war
- No trade (participants are advised to use /request off to prevent trade requests)
- Round 1 - best of 3 single eliminations
- Round 2 - best of 3 single eliminations
- Semi Finals - best of 3 single eliminations
- Final Match - best of 5
To secure the fairness of each match, the opposing players are required to equip the same gear which is provided by the Events Team.
- Full Options Marduk Babylonian Set + Weapon
- Uber Kantata Pair (Wind and Poison)
Sixteen Blade Masters are given the chance to vie for the prestigious title, but only one will rise victorious. In order to win, the participants will have to fight their way to the finals.
Venue
The tournament takes place in a special map in the Illusion Temple.
Prizes
10,000 Gold Credits + 5 IMES
Winner will also get a chance to wear this special Forum Tag for one month
