Unlike standard MU Online servers where certain classes dominate others unconditionally, we have engineered a uniquely balanced Player vs. Player (PvP) system. By configuring damage modifiers for every specific Class vs. Class scenario, we ensure that no character is inherently overpowered. How the Balancing Works
Case Study: Soul Master vs. Magic Gladiator
Historically, the Magic Gladiator has very weak defensive immunity against the Dark Wizard / Soul Master. In a standard MU environment, the SM would unfairly dominate the MG.
By utilizing our isolated Class vs. Class configuration, we decreased the specific damage dealt by the SM to the MG by 40%. This targeted adjustment fixes the broken matchup without nerfing the SM's damage against a Blade Knight or Dark Lord.
Mirror Matchups
We have applied this same targeted philosophy to mirror matchups (e.g., MG vs. MG). We have adjusted the damage formulas to eliminate the "fast kill" meta, allowing for longer, more engaging, and skill-based duels between players of the same class.
