So you've joined InfinityMU and want to get better at player vs player or short PVP. Here are some tips and advice on becoming the best hero or villain ingame!

Sets

To begin you have to get the proper set in order to be able to PVP. While its normal for you to begin at the bottom once you're ready to join the battle fields you may want to gain either a Fulloption Set or an Uber Set.

Full Option

What a fulloption set means it includes all the excellent options ingame. These options are: Damage Decrease

Reflect

Damage Success Rate

Increase Max HP

Increase Max Mana

Increase Rate of Zen

Increase Rate of Life

Uber Sets

Uber sets include all the options of a fulloption set but add the benefit of Ancient Options which are from ancient sets (short term acc set). [[List of Uber Sets ]]

Potions

In the classic MU you may be used to using HP potions but here in InfinityMU we use [[SD potions]. These are the potions in the NPC which are located at the bottom right most of the time and are of a purple color.

While PVPing you must be able to maintain a certain amount of potions per second whilst comboing because if you focus too much on combos or attacking and less on potting (healing) you may die.

Combos

Combo's are the more complicated aspect of MU. While being simple to execute, they are rather difficult to execute under pvp conditions.

The basic combo consists of starting with your weapon skill such as cyclone, followed by the twisting slash skill, and finally using the death stab or rageful blow skill. Through years of gaming MU online heroes have created their own combos and methods of comboing which include various orders of executing the skills.

Here are a few examples of relatively good combos:

Put 1 as cyclone, 2 as twisting slash, 3 as death stab. In PVP you would hold down the "1" key and alternate between pressing "23we23we" or just "wewewe" and occasionally press 23.

So like this:

[ 1 ] [ 2 ][ 3 ]

[ 1 ] [ 2 ][ 3 ]

[ 1 ] [ 2 ][ 3 ]

[ 1 ] [ 2 ][ 3 ]

[ 1 ] [ 2 ][ 3 ]

And repeat.

As for the technique towards using twisting slash in PVP its quite easy, you need to at a constant pace press "2..3..2..3..2..3" as it allows for more damage.

So like this:

[ 2 ][ 3 ]

[ 2 ][ 3 ]
