System Settings & Security

Windows Updates

Ensure your operating system is fully up to date to prevent compatibility issues.

  1. Go to Start > Settings.
  2. Select Update & Security > Windows Update.
  3. Click Check for updates and install any available packages.
  4. Restart your computer.

Antivirus Exclusions

Some security software may falsely flag or block game files.

⚠️ Important Notice
If you use Avast, Avira, DrWeb, or 360 Total Security, you must manually add the entire InfinityMU client folder to your antivirus software's Exceptions / Exclusions list to prevent the launcher or game files from being quarantined.
❓Why is my Antivirus flagging the game?
Our game files use custom wrappers and anti-cheat hooks to ensure a fair play environment. Antivirus programs often use Heuristic Analysis—a method that flags any file that "behaves" like a system modification tool, even if it is completely safe. These are known as False Positives.
