Guilds are the backbone of the MU Online community. They allow players to unite under a single banner, whether for friendship, power, or castle domination. Being part of a guild offers social benefits, protection, and access to large-scale events like Castle Siege.

Creating a Guild

Creating a guild is simple, but requires you to meet specific criteria.

  • NPC: Guild Minister (Lawrence)
  • Location: Devias (Coordinates: 215, 45)

Requirements

Requirement Details
Level Guild Master must be at least Level 100.
Name Must be at least 4 characters long. No special symbols allowed.
Cost Creating a guild is free of charge.

Guild Mark (Logo)

Upon creation, you will be asked to design a Guild Mark. This logo appears above every member's character.

  • Note: Once created, the Guild Name and Guild Mark cannot be changed without disbanding the guild.

Member Management

A Guild Master has full control over the roster, including promoting trusted members to leadership roles or removing inactive players.

Ranks & Promotions

To change a member's rank, open the Guild Window (G), click the member's name, and select a role:

  • Guild Master: The leader and creator.
  • Asst. Guild Master: Can accept new members.
  • Battle Master: Leads the guild in Siege warfare.
  • Member: Standard guild member.

Leaving or Disbanding

  • Leave: Press G → Switch to 'Guild' tab → Click Withdraw.
  • Disband: Press G → Switch to 'Guild' tab → Click Disband (Guild Master only).
Note: Disbanding requires a personal ID/Secret Code confirmation.

Diplomacy: Alliances & Hostility

Guilds do not exist in a vacuum; they can form powerful alliances or declare bitter wars.

Guild Alliances

An Alliance allows multiple guilds to team up, primarily for the Castle Siege event.

  • Structure: An Alliance consists of 1 Main Guild and up to 2 Allied Guilds.
  • Visuals: Allied names appear in Green.
  • How to Join: The sub-guild master must command-click the Main Guild Master and select "Join Alliance".
  • Requirement: The guild joining the alliance must have at least 10 Members.

Guild Hostility

A guild can declare official hostility toward a rival.

  • Visuals: Hostile names appear in Red.
  • PK Rules: You can attack and kill members of a hostile guild without penalty (no Murderer status).

Guild Competition

Guilds can settle disputes through two official PvP modes.

1. Guild War

A direct deathmatch between two guilds in any open map.

  • Command: /war [GuildName]
  • Rules:

Once accepted, members can attack each other instantly. There is no EXP loss or item drop penalty during a Guild War. The first guild to reach the kill limit (or the one with the most kills when time expires) wins.

2. Battle Soccer

A sport-PvP mode located in the Arena stadium.

  • Command: /battlesoccer [GuildName]
  • Teams: Parties of 1-5 players per guild.
  • Winning Condition: First team to reach 100 Points.
Action Points Awarded
Goal Scored 20 Points
Player Killed 1 Point (PvP Server Only)
