Kill the Boss Event is one of the most sought monthly event in the InfinityMU continent because of its grand reward of [[Sacred Mace of the King|Sacred Mace of King]] or [[Tartarus Mace of the Emperor Set|Tartarus Mace of Emperor]]. It is where the warriors of different classes try to kill the Boss before anyone else.

The battle for the "Boss Slayer" title takes place every First Sunday of the month, one hour before the regular Castle Siege Time. The head of the Events Team makes a series of announcements prior to the schedule both in-game and in the forums.

The event has two stages. First one when the Staff Members hide in a random map and the Second one when the Boss will appear.

The Staf Members can use 2k Potions during the event. The participants must find and kill all of the staff members and the one using Boss Skin. The Boss has max buffs from the Staff Party Members. To secure the fairness of the event, participants are allowed to create a party of their own and get all the buffs they want in order to fulfill the task.

PK Monthly is one of the big monthly events in-game where the biggest arena in the Dungeon open its gates for the warriors to fight to the death. It is where all the strongest gladiators from the server gather for the exclusive title of PK Monthly Winner. This was first initiated by former Game Master and now a Legend ZNAKE.

The PK Monthly Event takes place every 3rd Sunday of the month one hour before the regular Castle Siege time. The head of the Events Team makes a series of announcements in forum and all throughout the in-game servers.

* No guild war
* No trade (participants are advised to use /request off to prevent any trade requests)

Our server, InfinityMU, has made an event wherein you can get cool prizes that people will be usually paying for in order to get. InfinityMU Event Series a.k.a. IMES, is a big event from InfinityMU designed for players who spend a lot of time ingame and in forum.

= Types of IMES =

There are two types of IMES, "In-game IMES" and "Forum IMES (FIMES)".

In-game IMES, are the ones usually seen hosted by our dear Event Masters and Game Masters in-game.

1. All Infinitians who participate in every event made by our staff team will receive points every time they win. Highest Point that Event winners can get is 3 and the lowest is 1. Highest points that EM/GM can give is 2 for PVP events and 1 for Non PVP events. Scores will be added to each character on the scoreboards. Example, if there are two DIFFERENT staffers who host in 1 day and the player gets 3 IMES from each, it means they will win 6 IMES in that day.

2. Players can't use more than 1 character and 1 account. Meaning, if you have two characters, you cannot combine their IMES points.

3. If you rename the character, with which you participate in IMES, it's your obligation to forward the new name to the Head Event Master / Head Game Master or RESiSTANT.

4. Banned Characters/Accounts (permanent bans) will be automatically removed and disqualified from the event.

5. Players can also gain IMES points by winning our weekly Castle Siege Event in which different alliances in InfinityMU participate.
Submission of SS for CS Siege Winners : Fake/edited SS and also SS not taken right after CS time will not be accepted and can lead to getting your points deducted.

6. IMES Reaper function will reduce (-1) point of the selected player on all staffers’ scoreboard.

7. In order to make the competition more interesting and fair, you can maximum win 3 IMES per GM/EM events per day.

8. The members of the Staff cannot participate in the said event.

= Other Ways to Gain IMES points =
If your Alliance won the Castle Siege for the week, send private message to the Head Event Master in forums with a screenshot using your character while participating in the Castle Siege (Inside the Throne Room). This will result into receiving additional 3 IMES Points.

If a player has the #1 rank on a staffer's scoreboard, you will have an additional 10 IMES Points on his final score.

Reporting hacks will get you +5 IMES points on each GM's IMES Scoreboard if the report will be approved.

Our server, InfinityMU, has made an event wherein you can get cool prizes that people will be usually paying for in order to get. InfinityMU Event Series a.k.a. IMES, is a big event from InfinityMU designed for players who spend a lot of time ingame and in forum.

= Types of IMES =

There are two types of IMES, "In-game IMES" and "Forum IMES (FIMES)".

In-game IMES, are the ones usually seen hosted by our dear Event Masters and Game Masters in-game.

On the other hand, Forum IMES are the ones hosted in our forums:

= Event Rules and Mechanics =

1. All Infinitians who participate in every event made by our staff team will receive points every time they win. Highest Point that Event winners can get is 3 and the lowest is 1. Highest points that EM/GM can give is 2 for PVP events and 1 for Non PVP events. Scores will be added to each character on the scoreboards. Example, if there are two DIFFERENT staffers who host in 1 day and the player gets 3 IMES from each, it means they will win 6 IMES in that day.

2. Players can't use more than 1 character and 1 account. Meaning, if you have two characters, you cannot combine their IMES points.

3. If you rename the character, with which you participate in IMES, it's your obligation to forward the new name to the Head Event Master / Head Game Master or RESiSTANT.

4. Banned Characters/Accounts (permanent bans) will be automatically removed and disqualified from the event.

5. Players can also gain IMES points by winning our weekly Castle Siege Event in which different alliances in InfinityMU participate.
Submission of SS for CS Siege Winners : Fake/edited SS and also SS not taken right after CS time will not be accepted and can lead to getting your points deducted.

6. IMES Reaper function will reduce (-1) point of the selected player on all staffers’ scoreboard.

7. In order to make the competition more interesting and fair, you can maximum win 3 IMES per GM/EM events per day.

8. The members of the Staff cannot participate in the said event.

= Other Ways to Gain IMES points =
If your Alliance won the Castle Siege for the week, send private message to the Head Event Master in forums with a screenshot using your character while participating in the Castle Siege (Inside the Throne Room). This will result into receiving additional 3 IMES Points.

If a player has the #1 rank on a staffer's scoreboard, you will have an additional 10 IMES Points on his final score.

Reporting hacks will get you +5 IMES points on each GM's IMES Scoreboard if the report will be approved.

= IMES Reaper (out of use since IMES Autumn Edition 2021) =

As the name suggests, this feature subtracts (-1) IMES Point from another participant.

This reaper feature can be won at the weekly Castle Siege Event or in a Forum Big Event. Just send a private message to the Head Event Master for (9999x) and the Head Game Master for (100x).

= Prizes =

Everything went in accordance with [[Lemulia]]’s cunning tricks and evil plans. First, she restored the cursed island of [[Thessaly]] where the gods once clashed and then framed a tournament with a tempting reward- the mythical [[Box of Pandora]]. She announced that whoever opens the box will have an everlasting life and a power strong enough to challenge cosmic beings. Unfortunately, the trick was successfull, as it lured the mightiest warriors of the land. The promise of immortality and godlike power was so strong that they turned against each other, beheaded their own masters, and slaughtered their own brothers. This time, no one saw past Lemulia’s veil of deception. Not a single person caught the wicked smirk on her face as she covertly collected the souls of the fallen.

The first warriors who rose triumphantly were indeed rewarded with Pandora’s Box. It gave them sacred armors and celestial weapons with unparalleled strength. Sadly, they did not have the faintest idea that those items were actually infused with Lemulia’s lust for blood. Once worn, the bearer’s thirst for blood and battle would be uncontainable compelling them to join the death match over and over again until their very last breath.

The evil sorceress was successful in her plot. The event became known to all men and was later on dubbed the '''“Thessaly Death Match”'''. For many years, Lemulia collected the souls of the Thessalian fighters who died in the tournament. Until one day, with the help of [[Antonias]], a foolish lord blinded by ambition, the sorceress was able to harness enough souls to break the [[Seal of Entramu]], unleashing a powerful entity of darkness, [[Kundun]].

The Ancient Devil now walks amongst the living, defiling the land with his touch. Lemulia’s evil intents did not end there, as she continued to collect souls from power-hungry warriors. Later on, she resurrected a demigod named [[Guardian Aeolus|Aeolus]] to watch over Thessaly and ensure that only those with formidable souls may enter the battlefield.

The bloodstained tournament, '''Thessaly Death Match (TDM)''' takes place every '''Saturday at 5:05pm GMT+3''', few minutes after the regular Castle Siege time. Fearless warriors who would like to take part in the bloodshed can either use the command /jointdm or visit the new NPC, [[Guardian Aeolus]] near the vault in Devias. A minimum of ten particpants are required in order for the event to commence. Otherwise, the event will not start and will be cancelled. 

Five minutes after the initial announcement, players who have accepted the invitation will be teleported automatically to the battlefield where they will be divided into two equal teams. The distribution of the participants is based primarily on the following factors: character classes, player statistics, and TDM level.

* '''Character Classes''' - For instance, if four High Elves joined the event, each team will have two elves fighting along their side. In cases where the number of participants of a particular class is an odd number or not divisible by 2 such as 3, 5 or 7, the remainder will be distributed randomly.

* '''Player Statistics''' - The minimum requirement for all statistics is 32,000. Hence, strength, agility, vitality, energy and command (DL) must not be lower than 32,000 for a player to qualify in the death match. Same rule of equal distribution applies in events where there are participants whose stats are not maxed out to 32,767.

* '''TDM Level''' - This refers to the number of victories a participant has accumulated over time. It’s like the expert level of an avid TDM participant. TDM level and website ranking reset in accordance with the IMES event.

There is no limit to how many players can join. Thus, there may be instances where the teams have unequal number of members. For example, if 31 players registered, one team will have 15 members and the other will have 16. The latter may seem to have an advantage, because they have more members, but actually, this also means that the former has more players to kill so they can have more points.

==Mechanics==
The opposing teams, Red Team and Blue Team will have a designated respawn coordinates: 111 116 for the Red Team and 124 167 for the Blue Team. Each team’s objective is to gain as many kills as possible, as it will be the basis of which team will rise victorious at the end of the match.

Players’ kills and deaths will be tallied and displayed in the TDM Ranking on the website as follows:

Wins refer to the total number of kills that the participant was able to accumulate, while losses refer to how many times he died in all of his matches. By the end of the season, the top players will get IMES points equivalent to the difference of their wins and losses. In the example above, RESiSTANT will get 20 IMES points, as it is the difference between his wins (30) and his losses (10). On the other hand, since Dreams' losses are more tha his wins, instead of getting a negative value, his IMES points will be based on his TDM level so he will get 4 IMES points.
